wild wing avocet 10.24
course was in really good shape despite some overseeding. good practice facilties. chipping area could have used a little mowing but minor complaint. very playable. hidden gem that is off the beaten path from tourists so always able to get a tee time even last minute and given its location is priced lower than other courses that are comparable but closer to rte 17. links style that prevents you from returning to clubhouse until round is over but on this saturday we saw the beverage cart 4 times so it works.
If quitting after 9 holes, it's only a drive up the 18th hole to the clubhouse,
but not a convenient drive just to get a drink.
Thanks for another report!

Thanks for reporting. Every time I played this course it was in good shape. It can play long so you need to pick the right set of tees. Also, I hate driving on 501. You need to add extra driving time because of the traffic.
Thanks for reporting @bri1164!
You're dead right : Wild Wing is a hiddem gem!

Agree with you on Avocet being a hidden gem, tough course for many but so enjoyable to play.. Thanks for your report.
Thanks for the update, glad to hear they have a nice short game area.
So was the beverage cart worth seeing 4 times? lol
Let the Big Dawg Bite!!!
Played WW 11.1 - greens are now cut down and puttable, rolled about 9.
Golf is just an excuse to drink whiskey and smoke cigars
Thanks for this report. Wild Wing has many good holes. It is a very quiet place to play golf.
Golf is a game. We play it. Somewhere along the way we took the fun out of it and charged a premium to be punished.- - Ron Sirak
