Well finally got our June trip done with Brian, Arriving June 9 and departing June 15. We ave 12 players this year with 6 new players to Myrtle Beach. Staying at the Legends again this is our 4th years in a row staying there. This is my 15 years to come to MB for golf the first few years were with my boys. The last few years has been a group of friends. I have played over 30 courses some are closed as of now.

Our courses this year are as following.

June 10 Heathland am

June 10 Moorland pm

June 11 Caledonia am

June 11 Heritage pm

June 12 Arrowhead am

June 13 Kings North am

June 13 Parkland pm

June 14 Tidewwater am

June 15 depart back to Texas

We missed out on a couple courses True Blue and Grande Dunes Resort do to arrefication.

I always drive to MB its 1300 miles fro central Texas. I try to bring most every ones clubs and suitcases so they don't have to hassel wth the airports. I have been able to spend the last 11 years of my birthday in MB not a bad present.

I am planning on arriving 2 or 3 days early hoping to play a few rounds with UCP. Just all I have to do is find a motel room 2 or 3 nights before the rest of my group arrives.

So for now just have to wait which is the hard part.

As you know, you have a great lineup.  It will be a great birthday present.

The new guys will be hooked.

Great lineup. I would be dead or need an IV of Ibuprofen playing 36 a day for a week. That looks like an awesome trip.

Well I have started the count down to another trip to my favorite place. Like posted earlier we have 12 players this years with 6 new guys that can't wait to get there maybe because I have talked it up so much. I will be leaving this Tuesday and arriving Wednesday. Can't wait to meet UCP we are going to play a few rounds before the others show up. This will be my 15 or 16 trip to MB. I have played around 40 course some which have closed as of now. I believe UCP and I will be celebrating our birthday this year on June 11.  I have been lucky enough to have spent my last 9 birthdays in MB. This years 10 of the golfer are from our local course The Hideout Golf and Resort is a really nice course in Brownwood, Texas. One is from the Ft. Worth area and the other is from Kansas City.

Just hoping to give the Pro a good game I know he is a very good player. But mainly I know we will have a great time. Reports will surely follow maybe after getting home.

Looks good Coach.

Is the Pay-Per-View set up for your matches vs UGP.

I would pay to see it.

I know you guys are playing for the fun of it, but I've golfed with you both and I think this is an even match.

Have fun boys,

You'll enjoy your rounds with UGP.....but bring your "A" game. ?

Golf can best be defined as an endless series of tragedies obscured by the occasional miracle.

Bandit - No need to find a hotel - I just installed a 5th wheel on my property and you can stay there - Cost? I get 2 a side from you. Interesting tidbit - we are the exact same age - 6.11.51. Looking forward to several rounds with you, we'll have fun, and while we are competitive, I'll be rooting for you to beat me every time - I'll try not to make it too easy for you.

One more tidbit of info - The course Bandit is at in Texas- I looked at buying it before it was finished, I think in the late 90's. Couldn't pull it off as the current owner wanted a say in how we finished up the construction. Drive safe - I'll see you Wednesday night at my place!

Golf is just an excuse to drink whiskey and smoke cigars
