Hey All,

Heading to Myrtle in a few weeks and staying in Pawleys Island.  We already have Caledonia and True Blue booked, and are in need of a 3rd course up to par with the two mentioned.  If you had to pick third in the south strand, what course would it be?  I've played Pawleys Plantation already and loved the course.  I wasn't sure if it was worth booking that again or something different.  I hear Heritage Club is super nice.  What else down there is up to par and worth a look?

thank you for your time!

Heritage is next best around Pawleys Island, after Cal/TB.   Some like Heritage better,
for the value and food included.     Next would be Willbrook.

TPC is about 20-25 minutes North of Pawleys, if you need another course.

Pawleys is good, but most like the courses above better and not as much housing.

If you might only hit range balls before play once, play True Blue first, since the range
is convenient to the bag drop.  The fairways are also wide at TB.

Cal doesn't have a range and you might feel it's a better last day course.

Report back when you return.

For sure Pawleys and Heritage both for the money are as good as you'll get. Some of my guys prefer those two over Caledonia/True Blue.. I know-- crazy talk-- but think the layout at Pawleys and Heritage is second to none.

Word on the street is that Heritage is in great shape - I would put River Club slightly above Willbrook

I would go for Heritage. Played it about two week ago. Good shape and a great course. Or if you want a little further back towards Myrtle you might check out Prestwick, but check when the are going to punch the greens. Played it two days before Heritage and it was in great shape, but they might be getting ready to punch greens soon.

We punched greens at Heritage on May 28&29, so no issues there.
