In that location, the Golf Trail wouldn't be a good option -- most of the nearby courses aren't on it.
Prime Time would be better, in that more of the courses in the area are included, but some are still missing.
I'm going to double down and say the Passport is your best bet because it has every course in your area, as well as all the other courses if you want to play somewhere different and don't mind a bit of a drive.
I live in Myrtle Beach and use the Passport. It gives you a great selection of courses for a reasonable annual fee. I rarely have issues booking at least a few course options with the 72 hour window (it used to be 48 but was increased to 72). You could always start with that card and learn more about the others as you spend more time in the area.
@uncgolf yes I’m going to get the Golf Passport as soon as I establish residency in MB. Thanks again for all the help. -Don
Very good information provided in this discussion. Moving in Myrtle Beach offer a lot of choice for a someone living in and around the city.

Moved here in Feb. 2021. I have three cards: (1) Prime Times ($199 annual) - access to all Founders Group courses, you accrue points towards free rounds (2) MB Golf Passport ($64 annual) - reduced rates for just about all the courses in the Grand Strand (3) Legends Royalty ($60 annual) - very reduced rates at all Legends courses, you accrue points towards purchases in pro shop (excluding golf clubs) or towards greens fees. All three cards pay for themselves in savings. Here are some examples: Played Caledonia the other day for $99 using MBGP the Rack Rate is $153 - 160. Played Heritage a week ago using Royalty Club Card for $29 the Rack Rate is $99. Played Tradition using Prime Times Card for $42 the Rack Rate is $58.
Benefits of using all three cards: I tend to load up on Prime Times points and use them when my sons visit. They play free and I pay the reduced rate and accrue points. I have played Legends courses 11 times since July 1, 2023 (start date for the Royalty card) savings is well over $800 vs. rack rate. I would not even play any of the Barefoot courses (as an example) at all if it were not for the discount I get using the MBGP.
