Sorry, but what is a "friends card?"
It’s a membership for local area golfers. You purchase the membership for $39. Then it costs you $29 to play the member courses. They were down to Glen Dornoch, Shaftesbury, and Possum Trot with the closing of Heather Glen. Well for this year they added the three courses I added above. Not a bad deal.

Our group stays at the Glens and for several years took advantage of the "play 3 get one free" package.
It was a good deal but we grew weary of some of the holes at GD and SG. Possum Trot was fun and loved HG but it was always wet.
SG seemed like you had to hike up a slope to get to the greens and with 8 of our 12 on SS, it was tiring.
GD had some holes that we deemed as tricked up.
Not a huge fan of Shaftsbury, but its OK to play with several interesting holes - much better now that they spent a lot of money fixing drainage. Locals don 't like that all greens are raised and it's hard to run the ball up.
