North Myrtle Beach is considering  a face mask policy as covid-19 surge in Horry County. This will not apply to golf courses but the order would apply to retail establishment such as sporting goods. More information here: https://www.myrtlebeachonline.com/news/coronavirus/article243880602.html

Face masks should have been a requirement in public from the beginning of CV.

thanks for the info s.

does anyone know if ANY course has gone back to single rider carts? I'm assuming since courses put that genie back in the bottle, they'll resist going back to it.

@say8pet

The group I played in on Saturday at Myrtlewood-Palmetto was three singles and we all had our own carts.

The thinking is if you arrive together in the same vehicle you can ride in the same cart.

Masks have been the norm here in Illinois  and it has worked.

Illinois positive tests are way, way down.

Masks ,social distancing and common sense  should have been mandatory since March .

Covid may have been almost gone by now.

I agree with you. Mask would have help to prevent this covid-19.

As I said in another post, I have no problem wearing a mask. I'm doing it out of respect for others.

Barefoot is doing single carts if desired. Also now masks are mandated in the clubhouses all around. Not a big deal really IMO.
