11 Sep 2020 - Rivers Edge
Played a mid-morning round at Rivers Edge. Conditions were a little wet at the start because of the recent rains. Our group was delayed for about 1 hour because of a downpour. Rivers Edge does drain pretty well and the rest of the afternoon was wet in spots but good considering the amount of rain that fell.
Tees - Pretty good. The mat on #15 is something I don't get. I've played Rivers Edge many times before the mat and the white tee was never good. However, as long as you have a reasonably flat surface to hit from, I think most people would give it a pass if it doesn't look good.
Fairways - Good, even with the rain.
Rough - Good to very good.
Bunkers - It was hard to judge because of the heavy rain. It does look like they are letting some of their waste bunker areas grow in. I'm not sure if this is on purpose.
Greens - Good to very good. Probably 9 to 9.5 and smooth.
Cart Paths - Not bad.
PoP - The round took forever because of the rain. We spent the entire day on the course and more or less closed the place.
Rivers Edge is epic and I know most of the board has played it at least once. It's in very good shape at the moment.
👍 👍 to Rivers Edge.
Thanks for your 3 reports today, especially on 3 courses many are not sure
about trusting condition wise.

I have a rain check for R.E. Hope to play it in about a month.
I'll contact you soon David. Maybe you can clear a day to get a round in.
Hope to see you soon.
