Someone said there’s a lot of construction at the Legends. Anyone have any info as to what’s they’re doing?

My Spring group has been staying at Ocean Reef for 10 years. We like the variety of rooms.
It has been adequate for the price. So I get a quote for Fall 2022 + Spring 2023.
3BR up 100%, 2BR up 150%, 1BR up 175% I asked to verify and was told that is the rate.
They suggested Caribbean for near what we have paid. I see lots of bad reviews for Caribbean,
mixed with 5/5 reviews with no comments, which are likely fake reviews mixed in, so I am
not going there. I am looking around.

Finally after a couple months they tell me about selling the properties.
So I found the below article with Google. This seemed to slip through the cracks of the
various MB media.

Our group of 16 was a bit late booking this year for an April 2022 trip. We've stayed at various places over the past 20 years with the last 10 years at Horizon's at 77th ave condos. Those condos have been selling over the past few years and we have finally been shut out. It was a good location for us with spacious condos where each guy had his own room. Well, we're done there so we had to find new digs. Seems 2022 is going to be a good year for MB golf since many places are already booked.

After a lot of searching we found 2 bedroom suites at the Staybridge hotel just south of 501 and west of the intracoastal. So, we booked all our courses south of there with Wachesaw, Prestwick, Arrowhead and Blackmoor making up the itinerary. Wachesaw and Blackmoor are new to the group. We try to add 1 or 2 new ones each year but, frankly, we're running out of new courses we want to play. We've played a lot of repeats over the years so getting through the full MB inventory has been slow.

Years ago, we started in Calabash and played many courses up there. Did a few years at Legends and then Myrtlewood before ending up at Horizon's. We're looking forward to this year and finding some new places to stay in the future.

Rental Units in the COVID Era?

Those of you who travel for golf vacations and stay in rental units are you confident the required housekeeping (disinfecting) is performed? If there is daily service are you concerned about the general health of the staff that regularly enters your accommodations?

Do you ask specifically about the COVID protocols followed by the property managers.
