Been awhile since my last visit to MBGT forum. Looking to rent a condo (2 months - Dec 2020 & Jan 2012) in the MB area (basically anywhere from South Myrtle to North Myrtle). Trying to get some feedback on some places. I've stayed at Myrtlewood, Barefoot & True Blue & Cherry Grove area......Myrtlewood/Cherry Grove appear to have the lowest cost in my search on VRBO. These were 1 or 2 bedroom units - really only need 1 bedroom. VRBO has Myrtlewood 1 bedroom unit running about 3K for the 2 months. Just wondering if anyone else has some input to getting a good place at a good price. Also, is there any golf cards/packages available for purchase for a 2 month stay?

Thanks in advance for your reply!

Deez

Golf package condos, hotels, etc, advertise daily rates for golf packages
and vacations.  They usually have better rates for monthly rentals.
Brian might also have monthly rates at places he books.

He also has 48 hour rates on some courses.
The Passport has a snowbird version.  Check it's date range.

I've got a place in Murrells Inlet that I rent out. The wife and I will be there in January, but it's available for December as of now.

Send me an IM if you're interested. Can offer an additional discount and no booking fees if we do the booking without involving AirBnB.

In the last years, Eagle Nest and Crown Park had a monthly rate. These two golf courses are fun to play.

@artmbgolf

Art,

In my review of the Myrtle Beach Golf Passport, the 2020/2021 Passport is available to those who own residences in certain counties. If I am just renting, I assume that would disqualify me or is there a different passport than the one below:

Thanks in advance -

Deez, we stay at a place called Lands End Resort, fully equipped Condos, they have Ocean Front to Ocean Walks units available, entrance is right across the street from Arcadian Shores.  As for golf Art has led you in the right direction with the winter snowbird Passport.  Brian also has a 48 hour rate I believe.   Good luck.

I would look into hotel monthly rates. Some have excellent monthly rates and are oceanfront. Also ask what is provided in the monthly rate.
