replay at Prestwick 01/14/20
Nice warm 74* day, not much wind and CPO due to heavy rains the day before.
The course is in terrific condition, greens ran scary fast and very subtle breaks that have you scratching your head a times. Fairways even though soft gave us some roll although we had a few mud balls. Staff was out raking the traps they could. This course is tough, IMO not 1 soft hole, we will get back again for sure.
POP was 4 hours even and course was not busy.
It will be a good challenge for the MBGT outing.
There are some forgiving holes: 6, 7, 12.

Nice but difficult layout. My first on my list in March. Thanks for this interesting report!
Golf is a game. We play it. Somewhere along the way we took the fun out of it and charged a premium to be punished.- - Ron Sirak
Art, if you play the proper tees Prestwick will not beat you up, play the wrong ones and your in for a long day IMO.
It might be tough but it is worth it. It is a course like lefty says you play correct tees and stay on your game mentally and physically you can do well here, so it isnt impossible.
Thanks for the update!
