A beautiful though windy day - Palmetto in fine condition. A very heavy over seed wall to wall. Roughs were a little difficult as the grass was a little long. Greens rolled good at 9. This is an old style course that is OK to play. Has a couple of excellent holes (14 and 18) and many decent holes. Like MBN West, it's a pretty open course with some severe slopes on the greens. Today the superintendent must have been pissed as he put the pins in some very precarious spots. If you want to see what smooth power looks like, check out Quevy's swing with the driver - a true 275.
Golf is just an excuse to drink whiskey and smoke cigars
MW Palm is looking good. The new bunkers look good. They had all new sod
around them in Oct, when I played there.
Quevy looks like a tour swing, with some arnold Palmer follow through.

I saw that swing up close nice guy. Very good pictures UCP
Doesn't look like a,275 yard swing, but I'll take your word for it UGP.
Thanks for the pictures ..made me feel like I wasn't in Illinois for a minute there.
