This thread is for golf courses that have temporarily closed due to the Corona Virus.

Expect more to follow. Friends played MBN on Sunday said there were only about 6 cars in the parking lot.

Thanks 1putt.

Golf can best be defined as an endless series of tragedies obscured by the occasional miracle.

Sad to see this Bob, but safety and our health is paramount right now.

PGA Superstore is also closed (at least the one in North Myrtle, not sure about the one near Broadway).

It was predictable. Too many golfers there each day. Social distancing is very important.

Colonial Charters, Aberdeen, and Founders Pawley are closed. Grande Dunes was pretty busy this morning despite an inch of rain that stopped at 9 am.

That list looks like FGI closing their least popular courses, where isn't a lot
of package play.

New closings today

Burning Ridge, Wild Wing, Willbrook, and World tour

Not good. My plan was to shelter in place at the golf course, not home!

Sad for you, but staying safe should be the priority now.

We were looking forward to Humming Bird in early May. I would think that out in the open air on a golf course would not only be safe, but beneficial, and we're in the 'vulnerable' zone, late 60s. We take vigorous walks every day and feel better for it. Oh well...
